This experience is among the most popular tours for a zipline experience in PV, and for good reason. That’s because the zip lines are only a fraction of the fun you’ll have on this tour.
It starts with a trip to the jungle, where you’ll strap in and zoom across seven different ziplines. This includes the country’s longest and fastest zip lines, Superman style!
As if that isn’t enough excitement, this tour also includes a specially designed off-road course that you can tackle in a UTV (Utility Terrain Vehicle). When you finish up with that, it’s time to rip down the hillside waterslide.
Hopefully, you’ve still got some gas left in the tank because there’s still rappeling, hanging bridges, and a giant swing. Oh yeah, and the wind tunnel indoor skydiving. There’s that, too…
If you’re not familiar with the experience, it’s all the fun of skydiving without having to, you know, jump out of a moving airplane. This is a good warm-up for those considering taking the plunge and skydiving in Puerto Vallarta.
When it comes to the best Puerto Vallarta ziplines, the folks at Los Vernos really deliver the goods on this tour. They were the first to open back in 2002, and they lay claim to the largest zipline canopy in North America.
The adventure actually starts before you even strap in, as you have the option to add a speedboat ride to get you to the start of the tour.
This place boasts 15 different lines spanning 1,450 feet (442 meters). The adventure begins by going from treetop to treetop, and the ziplines get longer and faster as you go along. This truly is one of the best canopy tours in Puerto Vallarta!
It all builds up to the final zipline, where you and a partner can race to the finish line. Everyone is a winner here, as you’ll both end up in their riverfront bar and restaurant, where free tequila tastings await!
After that, you’re free to enjoy the water-slide, swim in the natural pools of the river, or hop in a kayak. There’s an animal sanctuary here as well that’s home to monkeys, iguanas, and a variety of birds.
This jam-packed tour starts out with a boat trip over to Boca de Tomatlan. From there, you’ll hop in a 4×4 Unimog jeep for the journey up the mountain.
Upon arrival in the heart of the mountains, it’s time to jump on a mule that will take you the rest of the way. Finally, you’ll get to strap in and fly across their incredible zip line course. This includes their new roller coaster zip line, which has the twists and turns of an actual coaster.
That’s not all, though. This tour also includes rappelling down waterfalls, crossing lush jungle bridges, and the highest water slide drop in all of Mexico. It’s an adrenaline junkie’s dream come true!
For those hoping to add an ATV ride to their Puerto Vallarta itinerary, this is the tour for you. It starts out cruising through PV through Centro and then heads up into the lush Sierra Madre mountains.
The ATV ride takes you all the way to the Canopy River Park. This is where you’ll begin one of the best ziplines in Puerto Vallarta. Soar between the mountains and above the river on their 11 different zip lines and enjoy the views.
While you’re out here, you also have the option to walk across the impressive Jorullo Bridge, which is the longest hanging bridge in the world. Just to be clear, this is not included in the tour and requires an additional ticket paid at Canopy River.
The tour ends with a short mule ride back up the canyon. They also provide complimentary photos and videos of the ATV portion of the tour, so you’ll have a nice keepsake to remember it by.
